Interdisciplinary connections

My plan this year is to widen my reach - from the disability field to the community. It is a challenge because many people are used to acting within their fields of action. But these interdisciplinary connections are starting to happen...

Whilst meeting with the great NorthAble team, Rosalie, Catharine and Noel, we talked about the need to reach out to the business community - to raise their awareness about disabled people dreams to work... I am excited that people share my ideas and looking forward to hearing back from businesss people!! We are starting to see connections between fields of expertise - now Health and Disability and business!

To be followed - experts say that it is at the intersection of big sectors that innovation happens!

Eleos Trust and Comvita: Thank you so much for your support!

Huge appreciation to the Eleos Home Trust, the Utting family and the Comvita team for their amazing support!!!

The Eleos Trustees attended my Bay of Plenty Beehive Hidden in Trees exhibition and it was a great opportunity to catch up. The Eleos Trust has provided amazing support to this project. They believed in our vision from the start.

This photo was taken during the VIP event that Comvita organised for the exhibition opening, and a short clip below shows highlights from the night:

Yaniv filmed at Experience Comvita - just before the Attitude Awards finals! Our deepest thanks to the Comvita team who supported us throughout the In Bee Tween project - raising awareness about the environmental issues that surround bee keeping and honey production.
